Access Statement

We aim to cater for the needs of all visitors to our accommodation. The following statement is a summary of our provision.

Pre-Arrival

  • There is a train station in Evesham and Pershore both about 3 miles away.
  • We can book taxis, accessible or otherwise, for you if required.

Arrival and Car Parking Facilities

  • We have a wide entrance and drive to the property
  • Disabled guests will be able to park by their accommodation
  • The surface is firm consisting of small stone and is level
  • We can assist guests with any luggage
  • The parking area is well lit.

Dairy Barn

  • There is an outside light
  • Free WiFi
  • Entry is via one small step and a 83 cm door
  • Once inside the floor is level but there is a step down into the garden. (See Grounds and Garden)
  • Remote control TV/ DVD in lounge & bedroom
  • Bathroom is ensuite with a 70 cm doorway.
  • The ensuite has a shower 850mm wide and a 140mm step.
  • There is 230mm either side of the toilet, but the basin is quite close to the toilet.
  • The bed is a kingsize sleigh double with 900mm all round.

Parlour Barn

  • There is an outside ligh
  • Free wifi
  • Entry is by two small steps of 6 and 16 cm and a door of 83 cm.
  • The bed is a super king double which can be split to make a twin. As a double there is 500mm space either side.
  • Once inside the floor is level but there is a step down into the garden. (See Grounds and Garden)
  • Remote control TV/ DVD in lounge & bedroom
  • Bathroom is ensuite with a 70 cm doorway
  • The ensuite has a shower room with 900mm tray and 18 cm step over.
  • The toilet has 300mm either side and the washbasin has 700mm space in front.

Cropvale Lodge

  • There is an outside light
  • Free Wifi
  • Entry is either via a small step onto the deck and then through double doors into open plan lounge diner kitchen or via a small step through a side door
  • Once inside the floor is level and the kitchen / diner / lounge is open plan
  • The bathroom has a door width of 71 cm.
  • There is a large walk in shower, 1.2m length by 0.8 depth with a step over of 5cm.
  • The space from the bathroom wall to the toilet is 24cm and from the toilet to the shower is 30cm.
  • There is a handle to the right hand side of toilet to assist.

Grounds and Garden

  • We are situated on a quiet lane. Although there is no pavement there are plenty of pull ins and it is a lovely walk to the top of the lane.
  • If you wish to go further there are numerous footpaths and bridle ways leading to the surrounding villages and even up Bredon Hill.
  • Wellies or walking boots would be advisable.
  • Each property has it’s own garden area with one small step down
  • Hot tubs have 2 steps for entry

Additional Information

  • Assistance dogs are welcomed
  • Mobile phone reception is good but Vodaphone is possible but poor
  • If you require assistance for evacuating safely e.g. hearing impairment, please inform us on arrival
  • We are a no smoking establishment but you can smoke in the garden where tables, chairs and ashtrays are provided
  • We are happy to take delivery of any equipment that you may need to hire to improve your motility
